The last couple months one of my clients has been sending more and more work my way while the other clients in my book have slowly tapered off. Now 100% of my work is coming from one client.
On one hand, I’m quite satisfied with this in that I enjoy their work the most. On the other hand, it makes me nervous. They could pull the plug at any time.
The contract is open ended and I’ve asked them how much work they actually have to do. They’ve said they have enough to keep me busy early thru all of next year.
The client is a marketing agency. I’m doing a mix of all kinds of writing, SEO, copywriting, social media content, etc.
How far back on my laurels should I allow myself to lay here? Or should I be hustling for new work?
