I know it stands for Go to market, but the way my digital agency uses it, I absolutely cannot contextualize it. Sometimes it’s an adjective, sometimes it’s a noun. Someone will say, “we’ve got a GTM presentation” or “there was a GTM for this project” or “GTM strategy” and I just draw an absolute blank. I don’t understand what it means from a B2B perspective.
Googling “GTM” just gives me the basic definition, and I’ll be honest, I’m in way too senior of a position at my org to ask someone.
I swear I’m not an idiot (I think).
