Dealing with possible interviews as a non-native English speaker.

Hello everyone, I am currently trying to build my copywriting portfolio to start pitching prospects or agencies.

My question is: should I avoid interviews if my accent is terrible? I’m not trying to sound humble or anything like that.

I feel like a call would be ideal for building trust with the client, but I also feel that my accent would make them skeptical about my skills.

Is it a way to land clients without jumping on a call?

Has anyone experienced this?

I’d love to know your experiences regarding this topic, I think it could be helpful for other people too!
