Discouraged when looking for a first job following degree program

I recently graduated with my degree in marketing / digital marketing. At my current job, I have some experience managing social media accounts, creating web content, email marketing campaigns, but on a very small scale. Looking at job postings, I am feeling a bit discouraged at some of the requirements.

For those of you who are in the digital marketing world, what would you recommend to someone starting out? Did you get training during your first position or did you teach yourself? I have heard a bit about how some people gravitate towards the analytic side vs the client facing side of digital marketing.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
