Does Name.com often suspend domains due to “suspected abuse”?

Hey,

I currently use Namecheap for my domains, since 2014, and also have a few dedicated servers with them. I’ve been really happy with them, and never had issues with them.

However, I’ve been seeing daily posts on Namecheap’s subreddit of people getting their domains suspended automatically due to suspected abuse or risk, which consequently puts clients’ websites offline.

Risk Management can take weeks to respond (even if it was an error), so I’m very worried that the same can happen to me, as it would be very bad and damaging if my critical websites went offline for hours/weeks, due to an error like this.

I’m highly considering moving my domains to Name, but I’d like to know if anyone is aware of the same kind of thing happening on Name.

Thanks!
