Google Domains Dynamic DNS with CloudFlare?

Is it possible to use the Google Domains Dynamic DNS functionality along with CloudFlare? Currently my domain is registered with Google Domains and configured to point to CloudFlare for the naneservers so that I can take advantage of CloudFlare protection and caching. However, I now need to add a Dynamic DNS entry to the domain and the device that will be updating the Dynamic DNS entry supports Google Domains (but not CloudFlare) so I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to combine Google Domains Dynamic DNS (which I believe requires using Google’s nameservers) with CloudFlare protection and caching (which I believe requires using CloudFlare’s nameservers).
