My client wants something unrealistic (he wants me to put 10 large rocks into a tiny box\*) so I told him it’s not possible, the rocks won’t fit, a larger box is required, but he doesn’t want to pay for the large, says it’s too expensive.
So tomorrow I’m going to tell him I’ll change the rocks into small rocks to fit a tiny cheaper box so he can pay less.
But I know he’s going to get upset and insist on keeping the rocks to large size.
So I’m spending my weekend feeling guilty, anxious and worried about his reaction.
He also asked to set up a phone call to discuss pricing, and I’m dreading it.
