Hi, I own a small vanity Web site. I was wondering what basic security and legal considerations would be.

I have a small Web site out that is dedidacted to coding and to personal projects that I put up on the Web.

I program in Javascript and do CSS work, and I leave the code open. (On purpose, part of the idea of the site is it’s about giving beginner and intermediate coders some examples of code in action, or ideas for their own projects). Any special security risks/vulnerabilities of making code public? I simply leave the code embedded in HTML, or put it out on screen as cut/pastable text.

With the size of my traffic right now, I’m not particularly worried, but is there some quick guide out there, also, on the basic legal ramifications of owning a Web site and putting out material to the public?
