I’m new to digital marketing and I’m ruining a small business. Advice?

I completed both the Google garage and a full course of udemy on digital marketing. I was feeling very confident in my abilities and took on a client. They are a small virtual assistance agency. They had a decent foundation but needed help with optimizing and bringing in new clientele.

I’ve basically undone all of their hard work and bankrupted the company for vanity metrics. Is there any advice for how to fix it?
