Hi,
I’m looking to move a domain from AWS from an external contact. I’ve been a bit stuck on getting a solid answer on whether I need to change the nameservers from AWS to fasthost before or after the domain transfer is completed. Should I be asking the external contact to change the nameservers to the fasthost nameservers before I initiate the transfer? Or should I transfer the domain now and leave the nameservers as AWS until the transfer is completed? I’m looking for the best option to minimize downtime of the website.
