mySQL database deleted

So I just found out the mySQL database for my website was mysteriously deleted from my shared hosting at Dreamhost. I still have my PHP files there. If I try to browse the website, it says “Error establishing a database connection”.

Currently chatting with tech support and they keep saying I must have deleted my database via the cPanel which I haven’t.

I am a complete noob when it comes to web hosting and creating websites. It had taken me a long time to build this website after watching multiple tutorials. And if I remember correctly, I had enabled automatic backups on the wordpress admin panel. But I don’t know where they are stored.

My question is, is there a way to restore my website fully or partially given that I don’t have any offline backups? I still have access to FTP.

Also, is there a way to find out from the Dreamhost cPanel on how my database could have been deleted?
