I’m looking for a good solution to host a list of instrument makers, specifically luthiers for niche stringed instruments like citterns, bouzoukis, mandolins etc. Unfortunately luthiers aren’t the most modern folks, and especially when you start talking about the folks who specialize in niche instruments, they’re unlikely too show up in yelp or even google search.
The past and even current solution is that individuals have created one-off lists on websites with no SEO and they’re rarely maintained by that person and when their hosting expires the information is lost.
I’d like to take this contact info for these makers and make it accessibly more publicly so that it can be hosted and edited like a wiki that would allow the content to be maintained indefinitely. Wikipedia doesn’t seem like an appropriate plaform for this, and I’m unsure of what else is out there that would be similar.
